Contractor Licensing

We repair and replace wood that insects have damaged. We do not perform termite or pest inspections, we do not apply chemical treatments, and we do not carry out fumigation or any other pest control work. Pest control is a separate regulated trade in California and must be carried out by an operator registered with the Structural Pest Control Board. Structural and Engineering Work

We are carpenters. We build to drawings and specifications prepared by others. Nothing on this site is a structural calculation, an engineering opinion, or a substitute for either. Beam sizing, removal of a load-bearing wall, and repair of a compromised structure commonly require drawings from a licensed structural engineer and a permit from the local building department, and we will say so when your project is one of those.
